Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Inspector to ensure our operations adhere to governmental regulations. The ideal candidate will identify compliance risks, develop strategies, and train employees to foster a culture of compliance within our organisation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify compliance risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance adherence.
• Create documentation to support compliance requirements and protocols.
• Facilitate compliance audits and regulatory inspections.
• Provide expert advice on environmental impact assessments and compliance.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Management or Law
• Relevant certifications (e.g. NEBOSH) are an advantage.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a compliance-focused role.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with compliance software (e.g., MyCompliance)

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification
• Environmental Compliance Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
