Job Description

We are searching for skilled Patternmakers specializing in both metal and plastic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate production of patterns and dies, ensuring high-quality outcomes for our extrusion processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and manufacture of new patterns and tools.
• Conduct regular inspections of production tooling to ensure high performance.
• Handle emergency repairs and adjustments as required.
• Communicate effectively with production staff regarding die performance and issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in team meetings to provide insights on process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• City & Guilds qualification in Toolmaking
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in a similar role with direct experience in die and tooling.

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Project Management Skills: Experience managing small projects or teams within a manufacturing environment.
