Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic press machinery, ensuring efficient production processes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate hydraulic presses according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and machine maintenance.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet production targets.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on all hydraulic equipment.
  • Report any safety concerns and contribute to safety meetings.
  • Assist engineers with testing and implementing process improvements.
  • Ensure product quality by adhering to company standards.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Engineering or related field
  • Advanced certification in hydraulic systems is a plus

  • 3+ years of experience in hydraulic operations
