Job Description

As a Glass Carrier, you will be responsible for safely transporting and handling glass materials in various settings. This role ensures the efficient movement and installation of glass products while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle glass materials according to industry standards.
• Optimize load distribution in transportation vehicles.
• Work closely with installation teams to ensure timely and safe installations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on transport vehicles.
• Keep transport routes updated for efficiency.
• Train new staff on safe handling and transport procedures.
• Engage in health and safety training as required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss operational challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Experience in a similar role or industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Glass handling techniques

• Organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations: Understanding of safety standards applicable to glass handling.
• Experience operating heavy machinery: Prior experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is preferred.
