Forest Fire Inspector and Prevention Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Prevention Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in implementing and enforcing fire safety regulations, conducting thorough fire risk assessments, and coordinating training programs aimed at preventing fire incidents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate fire safety measures and recommend improvements.
• Develop educational materials and resources for fire safety training.
• Coordinate with governmental and regulatory bodies regarding fire safety compliance.
• Monitor the effectiveness of fire safety policies and procedures.
• Provide on-site consultation to ensure fire safety standards are met.
• Conduct regular audits of fire safety practices.
• Prepare presentations of findings for management and stakeholders.
• Assist in emergency evacuation planning.
• Promote a culture of safety within the organisation.
• Investigate and implement new firefighting technology and methods.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in fire prevention and safety management preferred
