Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our Coventry office. In this role, you will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of IP law, including patent protection, trademark registration, and copyright issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex intellectual property cases and be passionate about supporting innovation.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on best practices for protecting intellectual property rights.
• Negotiate licensing agreements and IP contracts.
• Assist in IP audits and assess client portfolios.
• Develop and conduct training sessions on IP for clients and staff.
• Handle IP-related litigation cases, providing strategic counsel.
• Research and prepare legal opinions on IP matters.
• Maintain detailed records of IP cases and updates.
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or relevant field
• Specialisation in Intellectual Property Law is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in IP law

Technical Skills

• Intellectual Property Rights

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys qualification (CIPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
