We are on the lookout for an experienced Tile Trimmer to join our dedicated team. As a Tile Trimmer, you will cut and shape tiles meticulously to fit specific dimensions and patterns, ensuring a flawless finish in every project.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and mark tiles for cutting and shaping.
• Utilise appropriate tools and equipment to achieve precise cuts.
• Assist in selecting tiles and ensuring the correct quantities are available.
• Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored.
• Follow safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work alongside the tiling team to coordinate tile installations effectively.
• Engage in continuous training and skill enhancement opportunities.
• Provide feedback to the supervisor on materials and project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational or technical training in tile installation

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in residential and commercial tile installations.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of tile materials
• Blueprint interpretation

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina
• Problem-solving

Advantageous

• Experience in both residential and commercial projects: Ability to adapt skills for various project types.
• Familiarity with tile layout and design: Knowledge of layout principles for visually appealing installations.
