Job Description

We are in search of skilled Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operators to join our production team. Your primary responsibility will be to operate kilns and ensure the burning of bricks to achieve desired hardness and strength.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kilns are operating at optimal performance to burn bricks effectively.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to verify product specifications.
• Maintain logs of production activities and equipment status.
• Assist in the implementation of new kiln technologies.
• Provide feedback on kiln operations and suggest improvements.
• Support the team in achieving production efficiency goals.
• Engage in continuous learning about kiln operation advancements.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas to uphold safety standards.
• Mentor junior operators on best practices.
• Engage actively in health and safety training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in kiln operation preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in brick manufacturing or kiln operation

Technical Skills

• Brick production processes
• Machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of kiln maintenance practices: Hands-on experience with maintaining and troubleshooting kiln machinery.
