Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Inverness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions in both pets and farm animals. You will work closely with a skilled team to provide exceptional veterinary services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient care from admission to discharge.
  • Perform routine and emergency surgeries.
  • Evaluate and manage chronic health disorders.
  • Educate clients on post-operative care.
  • Assist and mentor veterinary students and interns.
  • Engage with local communities regarding animal health.
  • Research and implement new veterinary techniques.
  • Coordinate with specialists for advanced care.
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary surgery
