Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Lime Burner to join our dynamic team in Manchester. The successful candidate will take charge of operating kilns to produce lime from limestone while ensuring quality control and safety regulations are strictly adhered to. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kiln operations and ensure the efficient production of lime.
• Implement safety checks and quality tests regularly to maintain standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems as they arise.
• Control temperature and fuel consumption in kilns for optimum results.
• Maintain detailed records of production and quality control measures.
• Liaise with management to report on production status and any concerns.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in kiln operations is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in industrial operations is an advantage
