Job Description

We're seeking a passionate Library Coordinator to play a vital role in our educational community. The successful candidate will manage library operations, enhance user engagement, and support educational initiatives while promoting literature and information literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for enhancing library services and user engagement.
  • Coordinate with teaching staff to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
  • Conduct outreach programs to promote library services in the community.
  • Evaluate library services and user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of library materials.
  • Train staff on library systems and user engagement strategies.
  • Maintain records and statistics related to library usage.
  • Foster partnerships with other educational institutions and libraries.
  • Participate in professional development to stay updated on library trends.
  • Promote digital literacy and access to online resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Science, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Library Science are an advantage
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in library or educational administration

Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Languages
