As a Taxation Policy Advisor, you will play a crucial role in analysing current tax legislation, formulating policy recommendations, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective tax compliance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of taxation principles and a strategic approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of current taxation policies and suggest enhancements.
• Draft consultation responses to government proposals related to tax.
• Coordinate with external advisors to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in taxation.
• Support the implementation of tax strategy initiatives across the organisation.
• Contribute to thought leadership articles and publications in taxation.
• Participate in interdepartmental projects that impact taxation issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• Over 5 years of experience in taxation advisory roles
