Job Description

We are seeking a Farm Buyer to join our team. This role involves sourcing and procuring agricultural products, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the quality of produce. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills and an understanding of agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and assess the pricing landscape.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance purchasing power.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities to the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Participate in agricultural expos and trade shows to identify potential suppliers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural procurement or a related field is required.
