Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Model Maker to join our talented team. The right candidate will excel in interpreting engineering drawings and creating models with precision. This role involves collaborating closely with design engineers to ensure all models meet specified requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality models using appropriate methodologies and materials.
• Support the prototype validation process to ensure design specifications are met.
• Document processes and maintain records of model specifications and changes.
• Liaise with external suppliers for materials and equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality control measures throughout the model-making process.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in engineering model making or related experience

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• Laser Cutting

Certifications

• Health and Safety Compliance
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC programming experience: Ability to program CNC machines for custom model production.
