Job Description

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our growing team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations based on actuarial data. This role involves collaboration with other departments to interpret complex data and assist in financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide actuarial expertise and analytical support in the development of new products.
  • Assist in the calibration of pricing models to optimise revenue generation.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in line with business objectives.
  • Prepare and analyse risk reports for management review.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and insights with peers.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance actuarial knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
  • Master's degree or further actuarial qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in actuarial analysis
Technical Skills
  • Statistical Software (SAS, R, or Python)
