Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brighton. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing innovative mechanical systems and solutions, working closely with a diverse team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Draft and evaluate designs using CAD software.
• Review and approve engineering changes.
• Enforce engineering best practices across projects.
• Conduct risk assessments on designs and systems.
• Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their development.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality within the team.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

• 3D CAD Software

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
