Job Description

We seek a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations. You'll be involved in project planning, design, and execution, working closely with architects and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Review and approve construction methods and materials.
  • Ensure effective communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Analyse project data and report on performance metrics.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff within the team.
  • Prepare documentation for project milestones.
  • Implement health and safety measures on site.
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or similar specialisation is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles
