Job Description
The Transit Authority Police are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, employees, and property within the transit system. They enforce laws, respond to emergencies, and maintain order throughout the transit network.
Responsibilities
Monitor the transit environment to ensure a safe atmosphere for commuters.
Collaborate with emergency services for incidents requiring immediate attention.
Educate the public on transit rules and safety measures.
Promote community outreach to improve public relations and trust.
Work with transit staff to improve operational safety protocols.
Engage in continuous professional development to keep skills up-to-date.
Actively participate in emergency drills and simulations to enhance readiness.
Use technology and data-driven approaches to improve incident response.
