Job Description
As a Playground Monitor, you will oversee children’s activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. This role requires active supervision, rule enforcement, and the ability to engage children in fun, safe play.
Responsibilities
Ensure a safe and enjoyable playing experience for all children.
Be proactive in identifying potential hazards in the playground.
Encourage children to engage in cooperative play and share resources.
Provide support to children needing assistance with activities.
Take initiative in reporting maintenance and repair needs.
Engage regularly with parents to communicate children's progress or incidents.
Participate in ongoing training to improve skills in child care and safety.
Develop positive relationships with children to foster a nurturing environment.
Requirements
Education
No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Valid First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
Experience
Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is preferred.
