Job Description

As a Playground Monitor, you will oversee children’s activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. This role requires active supervision, rule enforcement, and the ability to engage children in fun, safe play.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable playing experience for all children.
  • Be proactive in identifying potential hazards in the playground.
  • Encourage children to engage in cooperative play and share resources.
  • Provide support to children needing assistance with activities.
  • Take initiative in reporting maintenance and repair needs.
  • Engage regularly with parents to communicate children's progress or incidents.
  • Participate in ongoing training to improve skills in child care and safety.
  • Develop positive relationships with children to foster a nurturing environment.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
Experience
  • Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting is preferred.
Technical Skills
