Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Arterial Embalmer to join our compassionate team at Compassionate Funerals Ltd. This role involves performing arterial embalming procedures and ensuring the respectful treatment of deceased individuals. The ideal candidate will possess a valid embalming license, alongside experience in the funeral service industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth arterial embalming procedures on deceased individuals.
• Collaborate with restorative artists to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the deceased.
• Uphold a hygienic and compliant embalming facility.
• Prepare bodies for viewing in line with family and cultural wishes.
• Record all embalming processes and associated data accurately.
• Provide support to families during viewings.
• Attend training sessions to improve embalming techniques.
• Enhance the overall embalming process through innovation and quality control.

Requirements

Education

• Valid embalming license/registration
• Certification from a recognized embalming school is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in embalming.

Technical Skills

• Embalming techniques
• Record-keeping software

Certifications

• British Institute of Embalmers Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent
