Job Description

As a Cutter in our esteemed fashion brand, you will play a vital role in our production team. You will be responsible for cutting various materials to specification, ensuring adherence to industry standards and quality control processes, all while working collaboratively with designers and garment technicians.

Responsibilities

• Cut various materials according to specifications, ensuring accuracy.
• Operate and maintain cutting machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials for defects and determine usability before cutting.
• Organize and store cut materials according to production needs.
• Work collaboratively within the production team to achieve deadlines.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on cutting machines.
• Communicate any potential issues to the production team leader.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards.
• Assist with other tasks in the production process as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cutting materials, preferably in the textile industry.

Technical Skills

• Precision cutting
• Knowledge of cutting machinery

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Ability to operate additional machinery: Experience in operating related machinery would be beneficial.
