Job Description

As a Legal Assistant at Legal Solutions Ltd., you will support our solicitors in providing exceptional legal services to our clients. This role involves the preparation of legal documents, conducting research, and assisting in case management. Ideal candidates will have keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal correspondence for client communication.
  • Research case law and statutes relevant to ongoing matters.
  • Assist with the drafting of contracts and agreements.
  • Oversee the organisation of case-related documents and evidence.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to case strategies.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail related to case work.
  • Support the senior solicitor in trial preparation.
  • Review and summarise legal documents for relevance.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory filings.
  • Provide general office support as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal assistant role
Technical Skills
  • Legal Software (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther)
  • Drafting Legal Documents

Languages
  • English: Fluent
