Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Textile Bleaching and Dyeing Machine Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Manchester. The ideal candidates will be skilled in operating dyeing machines, ensuring product quality and adherence to health and safety standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the high standards expected in textile finishing.

Responsibilities

• Control the dyeing process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and checks on equipment to prevent downtime.
• Work closely with quality control to monitor product standards.
• Train new operators on machine functions and safety procedures.
• Assist with the ordering and management of dyeing materials and consumables.
• Participate in health and safety audits.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Provide feedback to management on production issues and potential improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NVQ Level 2 in Textiles or relevant field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role within the textile industry.
