Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Dumfries. The successful candidate will work on diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring top-notch service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems including engines and transmissions.
  • Perform quality checks on all repairs prior to customer handover.
  • Manage parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Work closely with customer service to ensure satisfactory operations.
  • Adhere to company policies on safety and customer confidentiality.

Requirements

Education
  • City & Guilds Certificate in Automotive Engineering
  • Higher education in automotive related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in automotive repair
