Job Description

As a Bench Hand at Woodcraft Ltd., you will play a vital role in our production team by performing a variety of essential tasks related to workshop operations. Your responsibilities will include interpreting technical drawings, maintaining tools, and ensuring the precision of manufactured products.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Utilize various bench tools safely and effectively.
• Measure and cut materials with precision.
• Assemble components according to the required specifications.
• Finish wooden products by sanding and polishing surfaces.
• Ensure quality by inspecting finished goods.
• Adhere to safety standards and work protocols.
• Work cohesively with the team to achieve production goals.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational qualifications in woodworking are a plus.

Experience

• Experience with CNC machines is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Technical drawing interpretation
• Bench tool operation

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with furniture design software: Experience using software relevant to designing woodworking projects.
