Software Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate user feedback and metrics to improve testing processes.
• Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks and tools.
• Foster a culture of quality throughout the software development process.
• Communicate testing results and status to stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure documentation is kept up to date with testing processes and findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA roles or similar

Technical Skills

• Test Automation Tools (Selenium, QTP)
• Version Control (Git, SVN)

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure): Knowledge in cloud services and their testing approaches.
• Experience with security testing concepts: Understanding of security testing measures and practices.
