Job Description

Join us as a Facilities Manager in Swansea, where you'll be responsible for overseeing facility operations and maintenance, ensuring a safe and productive environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with a knack for managing teams and improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct facility maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure all safety standards and legislative requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to maintain employee well-being and safety.
  • Assess and procure supplies and equipment necessary for facility maintenance.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving facility efficiency and sustainability.
  • Create and oversee preventative maintenance plans to minimise downtime.
  • Engage with staff to address any facility-related concerns promptly.
  • Develop and implement protocols for disaster recovery and safety planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing facilities in a corporate setting
