Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised Event Manager to oversee and execute a variety of events in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience managing events from inception to completion, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement event strategies that effectively meet client requirements.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure promotional activities align with event goals.
  • Manage and mentor junior event staff in planning and execution.
  • Prepare and present reports on event performance to senior management.
  • Implement strategies to drive attendance and engagement at events.
  • Utilise data analytics to refine event planning and marketing strategies.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential issues during events.
  • Network with industry peers to share best practices and gather insights.
  • Assist in the development of long-term strategic goals for the events team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale events
