Food Preparation Worker

Job Description

We are searching for passionate Food Preparation Workers to join our kitchen brigade. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes, upholding food safety standards, and supporting the Head Chef in overall kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook a variety of dishes.
• Participate in menu development and suggest new ideas.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are cleaned and sanitized after use.
• Keep track of stock levels and report when ingredients are low.
• Support other kitchen team members during peak service times.
• Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Assist in food presentation and plating for final service.
• Maintain organized kitchen storage for efficient workflow.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary school or relevant certification is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
