Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Furniture Painter who can prepare surfaces and apply paint to various furniture items according to design requirements. This role involves collaborating with team members and maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and prime surfaces for painting, ensuring high standards of finish.
  • Mix and apply paints and coatings to achieve desired effects.
  • Monitor drying times and ensure proper curing of finishes.
  • Conduct quality checks and perform touch-ups on completed items.
  • Train and assist junior painters in best practices and techniques.
  • Maintain a tidy workstation and adhere to environmental safety policies.
  • Work closely with design teams to translate specs into high-quality painted furniture.
  • Document processes and improve techniques based on feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational training or certification in Painting or related field
Experience
  • Prior experience in furniture painting or relevant manufacturing environment.
