Audio Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Audio Engineer to join our team in Kilmarnock. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up audio equipment, monitoring sound quality during events, and ensuring that audio systems function seamlessly to support various performances.

Responsibilities

• Operate audio mixing consoles and related equipment.
• Monitor audio quality throughout performances.
• Make adjustments to sound levels in real time.
• Work with lighting and stage teams to coordinate sound and effects.
• Provide technical support during rehearsals and performances.
• Document audio settings and configurations for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Diploma in Music Technology or relevant field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Live Sound Engineering
• Audio Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with live streaming technologies: Familiarity with live streaming platforms and equipment.
• Knowledge of MIDI and DAW systems: Experience with Digital Audio Workstations and MIDI setups.
