Job Description

As a Track Broom Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of track broom equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety on railway tracks. This role involves regular inspections, debris removal, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the operational condition of the track broom equipment.
• Identify and address issues promptly to minimise disruption.
• Maintain appropriate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Engage actively in team meetings to discuss safety and operational improvements.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while ensuring personal safety.
• Assist with onboarding new team members and sharing best practices.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through collaboration and support.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in railway track maintenance is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience operating railway maintenance equipment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of railway maintenance tools
• Data entry and record keeping

Certifications

Languages
