Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Newcastle team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and have experience in performing routine maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments to ensure machinery is operating effectively.
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment in a timely manner.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
• Support senior technicians in executing complex repairs.
• Document and report on maintenance operations as required.
• Engage in continuous learning regarding equipment and tools.
• Assist in training new team members in maintenance procedures.
• Actively participate in team meetings and development sessions.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in maintenance or engineering is preferable

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance or repair services

Technical Skills

• Electrical systems knowledge
