Head of IT

Job Description

We are searching for a Head of IT who will oversee our technology strategy and lead our IT team to implement innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT management and a strong understanding of emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan the IT department's future direction.
• Oversee the team responsible for IT support, ensuring excellent service quality.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance productivity.
• Develop metrics to evaluate the efficiency of IT operations.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their technology needs.
• Ensure effective communication between IT and other departments.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Promote a collaborative environment within the IT team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• MBA or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• 8+ years in IT with at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Cloud Architecture
• Compliance and Regulatory Standards

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
