Responsibilities

• Evaluate coverage requests and recommend terms based on risk assessment.
• Work closely with the claims department to address underwriting-related inquiries.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance underwriting processes.
• Conduct audits of underwriting files to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Support senior underwriters in preparing for major client presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Insurance, Risk Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of underwriting experience in commercial insurance

Certifications

• Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certification
