Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Avionics Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and electronic systems on aircraft. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in avionics and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on avionics systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to avionics technology.
  • Install upgrades and new avionics systems following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and rectify technical problems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all work performed.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines in all operations.
  • Assist in training junior staff and apprentices in avionics practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Avionics or related field preferred
Experience
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems and components is essential.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with electronic test equipment
  • Knowledge of specialized hand tools
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player

Advantageous

  • Experience with specific aircraft models or manufacturers: Knowledge and skills related to particular aircraft brands.
  • Experience with aviation maintenance regulations: Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing aircraft maintenance.
