Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Coverer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing boiler cover services to our customers, ensuring their boilers are well-maintained and functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform boiler assessments to establish maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for parts and special equipment.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex boiler problems.
  • Support the onboarding and training of junior staff in service practices.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer satisfaction and areas for improvement.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance technical knowledge.
  • Lead safety briefings and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and challenges encountered.
  • Assist with emergency service calls as required.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and support among colleagues.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Gas Safe Register certification
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in boiler servicing and repairs.
