Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in controls engineering, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial processes. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop control strategies for automated systems integrating mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate hardware and software solutions for control systems.
  • Collaborate on the continuous improvement of system design processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior engineers.
  • Support project management through effective scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in controls engineering.
  • Troubleshoot system faults and implement solutions promptly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related area.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Automation Professional are advantageous.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or related field.
