Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pressers, Textile, Garment, and Related Materials to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with steam clothes press machinery and be able to ensure that each garment meets our high standards for quality before it reaches the customer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all pressed garments are labelled correctly for delivery.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished garments.
• Manage workload to meet daily production targets.
• Identify and report any issues with the pressing process.
• Keep the work area organised and tidy at all times.
• Perform minor repairs on pressing machinery as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline operations.
• Monitor steam levels and adjust settings for optimal performance.
• Assist with inventory management of pressing supplies.
• Participate in safety drills and training workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a vocational training program in laundry services or garment care is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of laundry operations
• Mechanical aptitude

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of garment care best practices: Ability to identify fabric types and their specific care needs.
• First Aid Certificate: Basic First Aid training is advantageous.
