Job Description

As a Bioinformatics Specialist, you will be responsible for leveraging genomic data to support healthcare initiatives and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience in genomic data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise bioinformatics tools to analyse complex biological data.
  • Support translational research initiatives by integrating diverse datasets.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop visualisations and reports to summarise biological data findings.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimise data storage and retrieval systems.
  • Participate in research projects and contribute to scientific publications.
  • Engage with external partners to enhance collaborative research efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Bioinformatics or a related field
  • PhD highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in genomic data analysis
