Job Description

A Cotton Seed Culler is responsible for sorting and removing defective cotton seeds to ensure the quality of the harvest. This critical role supports the cotton production process and contributes to the overall efficiency of agricultural operations.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize equipment to separate damaged seeds from quality seeds.
  • Engage in regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance seed quality standards.
  • Adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control of seeds and supplies.
  • Participate in quality assurance audits and inspections.
  • Support the production manager in daily operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Be proactive in maintaining work area hygiene.
  • Document procedural improvements for future reference.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal educational qualifications required
  • Previous experience in cotton seed culling or similar role preferred
Experience
  • Experience in agricultural operations will be beneficial
Technical Skills
  • Ability to operate and maintain culling equipment
  • Basic record-keeping abilities
