First-Line Supervisor of Security Workers

Job Description

As an Officer Sergeant at Security Services Ltd., you will oversee the daily operations of our security team, ensuring compliance with laws and maintaining safety standards. You will lead, train, and support your officers in their duties while building strong community relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations and ensure staff adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for new and existing officers.
• Monitor and assess performance of security staff and implement improvements.
• Liaise with management and report on security matters and challenges.
• Facilitate team meetings to enhance communication and collaboration among staff.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the team.
• Manage the deployment of personnel for events and special tasks.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Advanced First Aid or relevant security qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years experience in a supervisory role within the security sector.
