Job Description

As a Tower Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tower cranes to lift and move heavy materials at construction sites. You will collaborate with site supervisors and the construction team to ensure all lifts are performed correctly and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tower cranes effectively and safely to support various construction tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of crane equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and foremen to optimise lift operations.
  • Implement best practices in crane operation to enhance safety and productivity.
  • Maintain communication with ground personnel during crane operations.
  • Assist with training junior operators on safe crane practices and operations.
  • Document all crane activities daily and participate in safety audits as required.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience operating tower cranes in a construction environment is essential.
