Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pickling Solution Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining pickling solutions used in the metal finishing industry. If you have a strong background in chemical processes and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Work on developing new pickling solutions that enhance the quality of metal finishes.
• Conduct regular tests to maintain solution quality and compliance with regulations.
• Document all solution modifications and maintain an up-to-date inventory of materials.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvement strategies.
• Manage chemical waste disposal according to environmental regulations.
• Liaise with the Quality Control team to troubleshoot any product quality issues.
• Ensure that production deadlines are met without compromising safety or quality.
• Assist in the certification processes for quality management systems like ISO 9001.
• Engage with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials for pickling solutions.
• Develop and implement training programs regarding chemical safety for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Additional qualifications in management or quality assurance are beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a relevant laboratory or manufacturing setting.

Certifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health

Languages

• English: Fluent
