Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to efficiently trim and shape corners of various materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality results and timely production.

Responsibilities

• Set up cutting machines and adjust settings according to job specifications.
• Monitor machinery during operation to detect and correct malfunctions.
• Document production outputs and discrepancies, reporting to the supervisor.
• Participate in regular safety trainings and adhere to all workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist in the implementation of new cutting techniques and machinery.
• Support quality assurance efforts by ensuring products meet company standards.
• Work independently and within a team to achieve production targets.
• Maintain tooling and stocks of materials required for production.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training is beneficial

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry is preferred.
