Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Scientist to join our Cambridge-based team. This role focuses on conducting environmental assessments, managing ecological projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sustainability and a strong background in environmental science.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret environmental data.
  • Provide technical advice on environmental best practices.
  • Conduct research on emerging environmental issues.
  • Support the implementation of projects aimed at climate change mitigation.
  • Ensure effective communication of scientific information.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with environmental organisations.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams focused on sustainable solutions.
  • Prepare funding applications for environmental projects.
  • Monitor project progress and report on outcomes.
  • Lead workshops and seminars to educate stakeholders on environmental topics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • Master’s degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental science or a related field
