Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Coventry team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for solving complex engineering problems and a passion for innovative design and manufacturing processes. You will be involved in designing, prototyping, and testing mechanical systems, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise designs for mechanical components.
  • Oversee prototype testing and performance evaluation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align project goals.
  • Utilise CAD software for design and modelling.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction through design enhancements.
  • Prepare reports on project status and design changes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
