Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Lathe Machine Operator with expertise in metal and plastic machining. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating lathe machines, ensuring precision and quality in production.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines.
• Conduct regular maintenance to ensure machines are functioning optimally.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop efficient machining processes.
• Document production metrics and report discrepancies.
• Train junior operators on lathe operations and safety standards.
• Assist in developing new machining techniques to enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of machine usage and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator
