Job Description

The Finishing Machine Tender is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of finishing machines in a manufacturing setting, ensuring that production targets are met and quality standards are adhered to. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient production processes and collaborating with the production team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of finishing machines and troubleshoot any issues promptly.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and machine efficiency.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to uphold product quality standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and share suggestions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical qualification in manufacturing preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in operating and maintaining finishing machines is advantageous.

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD Software: An understanding of CAD software for machine operation diagrams and layouts.
