Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker specializing in machinery to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various heavy equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all machinery is lubricated and operating efficiently.
  • Carry out routine inspections to detect mechanical issues.
  • Assist with the repair and upkeep of dragline machinery.
  • Update maintenance logs accurately.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to optimize equipment performance.
  • Participate in safety training sessions regularly.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards on-site.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance to maximize equipment longevity.
  • Ensure a tidy workspace at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications or training in heavy equipment maintenance is a plus
Experience
  • Previous experience in machinery maintenance or operation is highly advantageous.
